Lifesaving Society of BC & Yukon: Sand Sculpture

“To promote National Drowning Prevention Week and remind beach-goers of the inherent dangers of being around water, the Lifesaving Society of BC & Yukon created a sand sculpture depicting the aftermath of a drowning scene at Kitsilano Beach in Vancouver.”

Nice use of the natural material to get their point across, definitly wouldn’t have worked as well if it was just another poster, that would have been over looked. This makes people come over to see what it is. It also shows kids what real sand art looks like.
