Sorry for the lack of posting this week! Big grown-up stuff happening like trying to buy a house! #Stressful! So when I saw this it made me feel a little calmer just by the visual imagery of the advert. This was done in 2008 by Ogilvy and Mather for the Calcutta School of Music in India. As simple as it is when you actually think about it – wires stretched across poles with music notes placed across to give the image of music sheets and music in the air – it works. With a poster on a pole below the notes to explain a little more, it’s great, and they used actual music lines from the masters on music such as Bach and not just randomly placed notes along the wire, and are named on the posters.
